You will spend one day reviewing your self-guided academic training (PADI eLearning) with quizzes and a final exam along with an extensive pool session where you will learn the basic skills of diving. Days 2 and 3 are open water dives. These are great fun! Successfully completing the class will allow you to go scuba diving and rent equipment anywhere in the world.INCLUDES:
BCD, Regulator and Dive Computer. Certification fees (if course academics are done through PADI eLearning).REQUIRED:

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is a short try-diving experience for adults and children aged 10 years and older. This introduces you to the basics of diving, but doesn’t certify you as a diver. The ‘DSD’ is a great option if you’ve been thinking about trying SCUBA for a while. It’s also perfect for building up confidence in the water before jumping straight into your Open Water Course.

Trip Overview
Join me, for a five-days, four-nights, all-inclusive scuba diving experience on the magical island of Cozumel. I’ll be your personal PADI Instructor as you earn your Open Water Certification, explore vibrant reefs, and experience the local flavor of one of my favorite places on Earth. This is more than a course—it’s an unforgettable introduction to the underwater world, wrapped in great food, good people, and island adventure.

What to Expect
Thursday & Friday — Shore-Based Training
We’ll kick things off with skill-building sessions right off the shore of our accommodations. These calm, shallow waters are ideal for learning the basics and building your confidence. I’ll be with you every step of the way, making sure you’re comfortable and ready for the open water.
Saturday — Certification Boat Dive
We take it to the next level with your final certification dive—a boat dive in Cozumel’s protected marine park. Expect warm water, colorful reefs, and that unforgettable moment when you officially become a certified diver.
Sunday — Fun Dive
Now that you’re certified, it’s time to just enjoy the dive. No skills, no pressure—just you, the reef, and the incredible underwater life of Cozumel.
Monday — Departure Day
Take the morning to relax, explore a bit, or grab one last bite before heading home certified, sun-kissed, and smiling.
